Certificate of No Criminal Record
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia who have spent at least two years in continuous employment abroad are entitled to request this certificate.
The certificate applies only to the import of household items into the Republic of Serbia and is valid for one yearfrom the date of issuance.
How to Submit the Request
The request for issuing a Certificate of Time Spent in Continuous Employment Abroad – Customs Certificate may be submitted:

In person at the Consulate
or -
By post (must be certified by a Justice of the Peace - JP)
📌 The application must be clearly filled out, hand-signed, and must include accurate dates regarding time spent abroad.
Required Documentation

Signature on the request and copy of the Serbian passport must be certified by a JP
You must enclose:

A valid Serbian passport

For in-person submission: shown at the desk

For postal submission: JP-certified copy

Proof of legal residence in Australia/New Zealand
(e.g. Australian passport, visa) -
Proof of employment abroad, including:

Employer’s information

Employee’s information

Dates of employment
(e.g. employer's confirmation on letterhead with stamp and contact info for verification: company ABN, accountant, Tax Office, Centrelink, proof of tax payments, etc.)

Pension decision

Proof of payments into pension/social fund

Statement showing periods of contributions
